A space for parents and carers to enjoy some quality time with their little ones. The space, staffed by a qualified Early Years practitioner, has a small soft play space (for under 2s), reading corner, home corner and creative zone as well as covered outdoor play area.

The Sherriff Centre under 5s drop-in

Set within a 7-acre park and playground, there's supervised play and learning opportunities. They offer stimulating, creative, and fun activities where children can play with friends and make new ones. Snacks and water are provided.

Coram’s Fields Holiday Play-Schemes

  • for children aged 4 (must be in Reception) to 12
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm (during all school holidays, except Christmas)

Breakfast and snacks are provided, but parents and carers need to send their children with a healthy lunch that does not contain nut products or fizzy drinks.

Age 5 and over

Samurai: medieval to modern

  • for children aged 6 and over

Explore the world of the samurai this February half term. Create an origami samurai helmet (kabuto), design a family banner (nobori) or listen to traditional Japanese stories, all inspired by the British Museum’s upcoming Samurai: medieval to modern exhibition.

Holiday Activities and Food Programme

Bookings are now open for the winter Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, which runs over the school holidays.

It's open to children and young people aged 5 to 16 who live in Camden and are eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals. HAF provides free activities and meals.

Soft Play Lates

After-School Art, Design and Craft Projects

Charity shiftED are hosting free hands-on after school projects, including metalwork, leather bag making and clay sculpturein its Makerspace in Holborn Library. Sessions are led by qualified teachers, alongside professional artists and designers.

Let’s Play, Korea!

Enjoy and explore traditional Korean games and sample handmade Korean treats with the British Museum and the London Korean School. Rooted in communal celebrations and everyday life, these games reflect cooperation, skill, and collective joy. Try yutnori, ttakjichigi, tuho, jegichagi, gonggi, and paengi, with small prizes for winners. Feel free to wear your own hanbok (traditional Korean dress).

Studio Time @ Shed Music

Drop-in sessions with a professional sound engineer to learn beat-making, record instruments, and vocals, and gain hands-on experience in a music studio.

Youth Hubs in Camden

We run 3 Youth Hubs (also known as youth clubs). Each offers a variety of weekly sessions, including music, cooking, fitness and gardening. There are also several independently operated youth clubs across the borough.

This course is for parents and carers facing challenging behaviour from their teenage child and it offers practical guidance in changing and improving challenging teenage behaviour. You'll cover topics including why teenagers misbehave, how to remain calm and in control, using rules to set boundaries and managing their use of mobile phones and laptops.
