About our Local Offer
Every local authority must publish a Local Offer, in line with the SEND Code of Practice. The Local Offer website acts as a ‘one stop shop’ to provide information, advice and services for people aged 0 to 25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and those who support them.
Through our local offer, we aim to:
- provide clear, accessible information about SEND in Camden, helping people to make informed choices
- support children and young people to access and improve our services
- enable parents and carers to understand what’s available and access the right support at the right time
Partnership and co-production
Our Local Offer is made up of services from health, social care, education and the voluntary sector. We work in partnership with these teams to provide accurate and reliable information.
Most importantly, our Local Offer has been created in collaboration with our parents, carers, children and young people. Find out how we work with families and get their feedback.
We value everyone's feedback it enables us to improve the information available.
