Help getting a job for young people with SEND
These organisations can support young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in getting a job:
- Camden job hub can support disabled young people in getting volunteering opportunities, training courses and paid work
- Camden Future Talent can help young people aged 18-24 find work experience, an internship or an apprenticeship
- Euston Skills Centre help young people access training, apprenticeships and advice in construction
- Camden Connexions offer careers advice and guidance
- Unity Works help people with learning disabilities get into work. They offer accredited training across Camden in different work settings, such as café, garden centre and mailing site. - Unity Futures is an employment and wellbeing service for people with a learning disability aged 16-25 who are not in education or work
- AFK Employment and Skills Programme can help you find paid work if you are disabled, live in London and are aged 18 to 25
- Capital City College Academies offers training and support to succeed in your area of interest through their different courses
- Access to Work can help you get or stay in work if you have a physical or mental health condition or disability
- Scope offers online and in-person job support services
- WorkFit is the Down’s Syndrome Association’s employment programme
- KX Recruit matches employers and job seekers
- Find a Job lets you search for full or part-time jobs on Gov.uk
