Training for young people with SEND
We want every young person to feel inspired and prepared for the world of work. There are lots of services to support young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in getting training.
These local organisations can offer support:
- Camden job hub can support disabled young people in getting training courses
- Camden Future Talent can help young people aged 18-24 find work experience, an internship or an apprenticeship
- Euston Skills Centre help young people access training and advice about working in construction
- Unity Works offer accredited training across Camden in different work settings, such as café, garden centre and mailing site. You can also arrange a tour to experience different options first - contact Terry De Willers by email at Terry.DeWillers@unityworks.org.uk or by phone on 07841 995 265 for more information
- Capital City College Academies offers training and support to succeed in your area of interest through their different courses
- Harington Project offer training in areas such as horticulture, retail and employability
