Free school meals for SEND pupils

Every child in primary school is eligible to receive free school meals, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Some children in secondary school are also eligible for free school meals. Find out if your child is eligible.

Free school meals for pupils receiving education other than at school (EOTAS)

We're committed to ensuring fair access to free school meals, including food provided for pupils who are receiving education outside of school. This includes those with arrangements made under Section 61 of the Children and Families Act 2014. See our EOTAS Free School Meals Eligibility Statement (PDF) for more information on our approach.

In the academic year 2024 to 25, we helped between 9 to 12 EOTAS pupils access free school meals.

How to access EOTAS free school meals

Our SEN Case Officers help to identify children and young people who will be eligible to receive EOTAS free school meals.

Parents and carers can also apply by completing the application form and emailing it to us at: FSMClothingSupport@camden.gov.uk.
